I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team and the Town Centre Team have been conducting enhanced patrols over the past few days and into the weekend as it is currently Freshers Week and we expect to see an influx of new students visiting our Night Time Economy which is renowned around the country.

Our officers have been out of High Visibility patrols, visiting pubs and bars, providing crime prevention advice around Spiking and Theft.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
